STORAGE TEMPERATURE 

The maximum allowed storage temperature is 49°C (120°F), however, temperatures as high as 60°C (140°F) are acceptable for brief periods of time. If When the ambient temperature exceeds 35°C (95°F), storage vessels should be maintained in a shed or inside. The product data sheets include the Freezing Point and Lowest Use Temperatures (LUT) at which foam concentrates will proportion appropriately. Storage containers should be equipped with insulating lagging if the ambient temperature is below the LUT or freezing point. Add no freezing point depressants such as ethylene glycol or any proprietary antifreeze products. The performance of most foam concentrates is unaffected by repeated freezing and thawing. It should be noted, however, that foam concentrates expand upon solidification and, like water freezing, may harm a totally rigid container. Foam concentrate transport containers are labeled with the minimum and maximum storage temperatures in line with UL 162 (7th Edition).
